Again, a break from working on my showreel resulted in another video. This "out of inner space" video looks very much like something from the cult X-MIX VHS-tapes (from around 1994).

This web page has been successfully on-line for a year now, and might be time to think of what direction it will take and how to improve it. Even though it will take a while before that happens, suggestions are very much welcome!

16 dec-07 Track of the Month
Finally got around to change the TOM.. Recorded in the basement where the hard drive only had space enough for the ongoing project. Songs were made, recorded and deleted. This song was made in one evening and the idea to slowly structure a melody out of nothing concrete. I believe usually it is done the other way round..

festival www.theoneminutes.be was presented to the final Jury and selected to be shown at the festival!
Films will be screened 9-11 November in Ghent, Belgium.
My entry is titled "iSolation" and I'm representing Spain!!

Since October's "track of the month" is a piece of industrial noise from 2000, I thought it would be suitable to show a picture of where it was made.
After all, there were no software synthesizers involved...

30 sep-07 Acid War!
After more than 10 years of wanting this track (Acid War, by Plank), I finally got it! Re-released by A3C0I3D tracks in 2002. A bit of a "blog warning" to writing this, but this is important, seeing as it was originally released on Important Records in -92. If you enjoy/ed Acid from around that time, drop me a line!!

Just wraped up this old experiment that was hiding away unfinished for more than a year on the hard-drive. The music and video are equally as cut up.

01 jul-07 Happy Summer!
Since the 24th of april I have been up to my ears in full- over-time employment which is good, but does not leave much time for personal creations. However, I have also celebrated my birthday, and share that here by making available a mad little sample from 2001.
This kaotic andersmix.mp3 contains mainly tracks from the 2001 album "Summer starts with headlice" (which might show up here some day).
The tunes where mainly created with an Amiga 1200 controling a Yamaha TQ-5 and an Ensoniq SQ-80. A Kawai FS-610 (which I can't believe actually is available on Ebay...)stood for the Rythm section.

30 mar-07 A pleasant surprise!
Skateboard shop 'New Style', Barcelona, has a Beefeater (the Gin...) sponsored machine on display that among other videos shows "Available for a limited time only" by Raquel Labrador and Anders Hattne.
Since Google doesn't provide any answers on this one, here's some
photographic evidence.
Machines are on display in Valencia, Barcelona and Madrid.

The ill-fated entry for "Red Bull Art of Can 2005" was featured on YouTube. Well received by its users- feedback was mostly positve and has by now been viewed more than 800,000 times.

05 jul-06 16mm short film
Chicho Narciso Puch's beautifully shot film "The man in the white gloves" was screened at the South London College. Shot on 16mm and edited on a Moviola, the film describes the cinematic process to a soundtrack by Anders Hattne.
